On the this page you'll find information about what the church sort of looks like and what we plan to do as a church.
Many people have left churches because they believe they are old-fashioned and don't fit into the current cultural landscape. At Skyline we think people want to be a part of a group that is relevant and culturally up-to-date.
We want to provide opportunities for people to enjoy Christ-centered relationships in relevant environments they can enjoy. We will offer real life solutions to life's nagging issues like debt, broken relationships, substance abuse, and compulsive behaviors that can control and manipulate us. So we've come up with a simple reason that we exist!

Skyline's Vision
Our vision is to help people discover their gifts and talents and to guide them on how to apply these gifts in all areas of their lives. This includes helping people develop their leadership skills, even to the point of planting new churches.
The Four Main Points Of Our Vision
1) We will have practical and relevant teaching from the Bible. It is loaded with truth that can be applied to everyday life.
2). We will strive for powerful and culturally relevant musical worship
3). We will have great educational and recreational opportunities for our children and young people. These will meet their needs in environments specially designed just for their age groups.
4). We will give no less than 10% of Skyline's general fund and a great deal of energy to missions and church planting.
Skyline's Mission
Our mission is to help people through different educational opportunities and other activities to grow according to their giftings and desires, and guide them to be successful in their lives and touch others around them the same way.
We a have powerful Sunday meetings that are the hub that everything we do revolves around.
We will have mid-week meetings that offer more intimate interaction, accountability and care for people in comfortable atmospheres. They will meet in various locations such as homes or restaurants. We'll add hobby groups to these in the future just for recreation and fun. Additionally, we'll add other classes, workshops and seminars on various subjects at the church.
In the future, we'll add purposefully entertaining Saturday night services that someone not familiar with church would feel comfortable attending.
We have begun leadership training programs in small capacity. In the future we'll have classes where students will learn basic and advanced Bible principles. This will equip them to become strong witnesses. This will also lead into our church planting efforts which is our ultimate goal.
Our Parent Church
Skyline's parent church is Fellowship Reformed Church in Hudsonville Michigan.
Fellowship is one of the largest Reformed churches in the U.S. It has been around for many years adding value to the Hudsonville area and beyond. It is an honor to be joining forces with them in this adventure!
Fellowship will be taking the parenting role, which means they will be providing essential resources, leadership and oversight. Many of the leaders, volunteers and core members have come from Fellowship.

Skyline is one of hundreds of Reformed Churches in America. Our Organization has around 1000 churches and 1,000,000 Members. We are hoping to plant no less than 300 new churches by 2013 accross America!
